Event Parking Rates
Effective January 3, 2005, parking fees for Agganis Arena sports and
entertainment events will be collected on entry and vary by event as follows:
Lots A, C-1, C-2, B, D, and F
Agganis Arena suite and premium seats holders should refer to their agreements or contact Arena Guest Services at 617-358-7000 for information about parking in Arena Lots A, C-1 and C-2 during sports and entertainment events.
Agganis Arena is pleased to offer sports and entertainment event parking at no additional cost to Boston University employees with parking permits in Lots B and F on a space available basis.
Agganis Arena Event Parking Policy
Arena parking spaces in Lots A, C1, and C2 may be used as supplementary parking
by Boston University employees with parking permits at no cost when there are no
Arena events or performances scheduled. Most performances and sporting events
will take place during the evening and on weekends, thus allowing employee
permit parking during the majority of normal work time. However, due to the
obligation to provide adequate parking for event attendees, Boston University
employees may not use Agganis Arena Lots A, C-1, and C-2 during scheduled events
and 90 minutes prior to the start of weekday and weekend evening performances.
In preparation of some events, Agganis Arena parking lots will be closed to
Boston University employees during the day of some weekday and weekend matinee
performances and other University events (Spring Open House, Commencement,
etc.). We recognize that advance notice of upcoming events will be necessary and
we ask for the continuing cooperation of Boston University employees and campus
visitors.
During these restricted periods Boston University employees with parking permits wishing to park at no additional cost may do so at Lots B and F during a scheduled Arena or University event on a space available basis.
Event Notification
The Office of Parking Services and the Agganis Arena staff will notify permit
holders in advance of event parking restrictions through the use of flyers,
signs, and the online
Arena Event
Calendar.
Boston University Employee Parking Permits and Visitor Parking
Although the Arena parking lots are designated for sporting and entertainment
events, Arena parking spaces in Lots A, C1, and C2 may be used as supplementary
parking by Boston University employees with parking permits at no cost when
there are no events or performances scheduled. Visitor parking will also be
available for Fitness and Recreation Center members at hourly and daily cash
rates when there are no Arena events or performances scheduled.
