THE DISCO BISCUITS

The Disco Biscuits  are made up of Jon "The Barber" Gutwillig: Guitar, Marc Brownstein: Bass, Sam Altman: Drums, Aron Magner: Keyboards.  Some of their music sounds like you're in a rave, some sounds like a psychedelic rock fest and some sounds like the part in Star Wars when they lower the droids down on the ship. But all of these sounds will take you on a surreal roller-coaster trip through your mind's eye: From its sublime mix of no-net, techno-tightrope walking improvisation to delightfully danceable pop, jazz and classical abstractions--the hyper-kinetic music of The Disco Biscuits is the perfect soundtrack for a new post-millennial generation.

Applying their bizarro spin to electronica, these bionic-improvisers are cruising warp-speed ahead through dance music's maddening maze--folding disco, house, goa, techno and dub modes into their phantasmagorical soundscapes--boldly re-shaping the many splintered strands of musical DNA into something new they call: TRANCEFUSION.

Their new album Senor Boombox was released on September 17 and Guitar World Magazine is already calling it one of the top ten essential jam band albums

The live Disco Biscuits experience is an amazing mix of delightful sights and sounds: Whether performing its all-night loon-fests, dyslexic, inverted or palindromic songs and sets, selections from their rock opera-The Hot Air Balloon, alter-egoing as Ah Moshi Moshi, improvising live soundtracks to Japanese anime or just plain making weird, freaky sounds--The Disco Biscuits are bound to give your mind a thorough skull trip.
